The ISRS is a regional meeting that is organized by a committee of trainees from Southern Illinois University, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois, Chicago and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The meeting serves to showcase the research of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in reproductive sciences across Illinois and neighboring midwestern states. This year the symposium was bookended by the keynote lecture presented by Nancy Weigel, Ph.D. (photo on left) from Baylor College of Medicine and the Gabriel Bialy lecture presented by Blanche Capel, Ph.D. (photo on right) from Duke University.
